Offline music-player PWA built in two days on a young fan's request. 19 tracks, installs to the home screen, live since July 2026.
A young fan of a home-made music universe asked for an app for the songs. Galappen is the answer: a plain-JavaScript progressive web app, live at galappen.nobuns.com, that installs to the phone’s home screen and plays the 19 tracks offline once they are cached. First commit on 16 July 2026, 26 commits over two days, and in use since.
There is no framework and no build step: a push to the repository is the deploy, and a service worker caches the audio and the interface by version. The tracks live in one data file, so adding an album is a data edit, not a code change.
Family project. It is here because it is the same shape as ØSIL Trim: one real request, a working thing the same day, then shaped by use.
